Meet Dr. Igor Smolianski

Dr. Igor Smolianski was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He received a Bachelor of Science from CUNY Macaulay Honors College where he was able to study abroad in the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador and Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Igor graduated from NYU College of Dentistry to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Later he completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center which included training in all specialties of dentistry including emergency care, root canal therapy, treatment of gum disease, orthodontics, and management of TMJ disorders. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA).

At Somerset Smiles, Dr. Igor prides himself on his patient-centered approach and making the patient part of the treatment care process every step of the way. As a New York City transplant, during his free time Dr. Igor likes to explore New Jersey with his wife, Nicole, and their dog Monty.
